Phew. I don’t know about everyone else, but for me, 2025 has been a busy year! Our Year-in-Review slideshow is 150 slides long this year! Holy cow.

Let’s start with the awards:

Officer of the Year

Marion “Ike” Watts 1405 (DSN is now 1404)

Firefighter of the Year

Joshua “Shrek” Hall 1411 (DSN is now 1410 with Josh’s promotion to Senior Firefighter.)

Member of the Year

Samuel Kerns 1407

Mentor of the Year

Dwayne McAtee 1403 (DSN is now 1402)

We had a couple of fun Awards for Jeffrey Elder 1406 (DSN is now 1416) and me, Samantha Dale Vaughn 1404 (DSN is now 1403):

And, of course, the “Thanks for fixin’ what we broke!” awards for Jack “Bub” Burgess 1401 and Marion “Ike” Watts 1405 (DSN is now 1404):
