Annual Dues

SOME insurance companies will give you a discount on your homeowner’s policy. Check with your insurance company to see if it will!

For any questions or clarification, please contact Sleeper & Stoutland Fire Chief James Vaughn at (417) 288-1387.

If you do not pay your annual dues and we respond to a call for your property, you will be billed for the call under the following state statutes:

Our fiscal year runs from May 1st of one year to April 30th of the next year.

This often causes confusion about when dues are…well…due!

If you pay your annual dues at any time after May 1st, they are due again after April 30th of the following year.

For example: If you pay your annual dues on May 1, 2025, you are covered until April 30, 2025. If you pay your annual dues on January 1, 2026, you are covered until April 30, 2026.

Dues are $60.00/year for the first residence on the property and $30/year for each additional residence on the property and can be paid via check or money order to the following:

Example of amounts to pay with residence(s) on one property:

To pay for one residence on the first property, you would need to pay $60.00 + $0.49 + $2.33 (which is 3.89% of $60) = $62.82.

To pay for two residences on the first property, you would need to pay $90.00 + $0.49 + $3.50 (which is 3.89% of $90) = $93.99.

Example of amounts to pay with residence(s) on more than one property:

To pay for one residence on the first property, you would need to pay $60.00 + $0.49 + $2.33 (which is 3.89% of $60) = $62.82.

To pay for two residences on the first property, you would need to pay $90.00 + $0.49 + $3.50 (which is 3.89% of $90) = $93.99.

To pay for three residences on the first property, you would need to pay $120.00 + $0.49 + $4.67 (which is 3.89% of $120) = $124.67.

In addition, to pay for one residence on the second property, you would need to pay $60.00 + $0.49 + $2.33 (which is 3.89% of $60) = $62.82. So the total for one residence on the first property plus one residence on the second property, you would need to pay $125.64.
