Safety Tips

Our city is promulgated (put (a law or decree) into effect by official proclamation) to Camden County for use of the Local Emergency Operations Plan (LEOP) for large-scale emergencies. This means we do not write our own plan, but instead agree to work in cooperation with the Camden County, MO Emergency Management Agency and use Camden County’s LEOP should things like tornadoes, earthquakes, etc. hit our city.
To learn more about Camden County’s plan, please visit the Camden County EMA’s website here!
You can also contact the Camden County Emergency Management Director, John Scheper, on his 24/7 Duty Cell phone at (573) 836-0178.
